SUMAIRA YASIN
Sumaira Yasin is an independent researcher working at the intersection of international relations, security studies, gender, and development. She holds an M.A. in International Relations from Monash University, Australia, and a second Master’s degree in Political Science from California State University, Long Beach, USA.
Her academic training spans gender, peace and security, political economy, conflict studies, and development theory. Her research engages with questions of global power transitions, nuclear deterrence, the security–development nexus, gender and conflict, and the political economy of international security.
Through this platform, she presents a collection of working papers and ongoing research that examine contemporary global challenges and the structural forces shaping conflict, development, and governance in an evolving international order.
